Handicapped Heart

I miss you
so much that
my skin hurts
where thoughts
linger rubbing
silk ribbons
of you in
my broken memory
until they fray
and I should be
going forward with
dreams I have
but I am
so tangled in
strings I can
not cut

never handicapped
always a fighter you are
good at cutting strings
