A pocket full of Change

To me it is not very strange
To shake a pocket full of change
It comes to me each moment new
And flashes me a brand new view

And I spend it as best I can
Upon the need that is of man
Some for food and some for cloths
And some for odors for my nose

I cannot count the change each day
Each coinage is of different weigh
Some are heavy and some are light
And some have teeth that seem to bite

It keeps me in a state of care
A constant process of aware
What and why and when to spend
And when this coinage meant to lend

And so we face each morning’s work
A day of life we cannot shirk

Carrying this Canadian change around has become a burden in itself Sy.
What with the dollar and a two dollar coin..
sure makes a man's pant's pockets and a woman's purse feel heavy.
Love the write!
LOL...another day, another dollar.

Hmmm, all the good coinage jokes seem to be taken.  Still, I'll offer you a yankee dime and a dutch quarter just the same.
