Skies shimmer in endless hues of blue
Cotton candied and delicious
The amber sun wraps its warmth about
Drawing me close and dear
The stirring breeze whispers soft
A hum of sweet summer daze
And I lay upon a grass green quilt
Melting into puddles

Sigh . . .

S.A.T.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

You write so vividly.  Imagery is your forte.  I have told you a number of times now that you have such an exquisite gift of painting pictures with your deft collection of words.  The bonus, of course, is that these pictures always carry some inspirational or critical message that everyone can draw from and identify with.  I thoroughly enjoy reading your magic posts.

Your poetic friend,

Kevin

Jo, you always make me smile , back atcha.

P.S.  Life can be good if we see it that way.  Having a little trouble with my vision today, but then, happens to all of us.

Kevin,  I always appreciate your encouragement.  Thanks for the kind words.
