.
.
Release
letting go of
soul's gentle departure
loosen the ties that had us bound
unclench angry fist filled with pain and doubt
free to roam with life's leash unhooked
acquit self guilt and shame
breathe out ... breathe in ...
Release

Beautiful and wonderfully inspired Chris.
Love this one very much!

Nancy Lee - thankyou and I miss and luv ya too.

Dixiedoodledandygirl - heaven just sent me a message, and the angels would like to hear you smile in your words. Can ya? Will ya try? It makes the clouds less grey so that the angels can keep better watch on us.
Thankyou sweets!

Wise words well written.

A wonderful form. Your words do lift the spirit dear poetess, and you picked a great artist to accompany your wings.

Chris, reading this made me feel like I've just meditated with spring breezes and open air symphony.  Such a pleasant poem given to us from your wise heart.  Lovely rhythum.

don't know what a "rictameter" is (guess I've never cared enough to find out or try one - especially if I have to think) but I do know this is wonderful and I would have like to have written it myself, yet I'm glad you did it because I could not have done it so beautifully.
