Watch out!  Weekend shamans sing their alma maters
Opinions of early history books, merciless of valley people
Hosts peer, quietly, students of internal truth, per say…
Inspiring potential in manifestos, clearing pathways

Ranging connection to their place, parents of a native wealth

But for pop culture catch phrases, growling
Resides within the land and those grand mosaics of summer evenings
Of horse backgrounds, with ideal audiences, birthing roaming colts
Whisperers of visionary and their early deaths
Born to fight the coldness of lungs and growing dark

Every morning at daybreak, we dig a certain place

In deliberate spin…undercutting the masks of children
Early life was meek, subtle imagery, their letters inescapable
Cemented within personas, of high culture, land’s life
Growth of best sellers…conscious ghosts which reunite

Their weapons carved of stone and things that count

Wedding dates with degrees of success
Touching life to life…their effects contacts dozens
They strove with what they had
In the end, their winds talked with crowds

Filled with forgiving seconds, of medicine anointing cliffs
There they sit, toes curled around their rocks

My chest is thick with the eagle of pow wow
A member at large, of blessed memories and fried bread
Springs workshop in print, incorporated in earth
With a note from the editor, & a tear in his eye
Then, husbands never killed their wives

He remembered the bear, fishing in the stream

But the ritual was written and accelerates history
The ancient mythological contributions to narratives
Developed expanded meaning with an elixir of poppies
Into the spirit world of arcane forces and rules of order

Which refused all suitors…heaping many woolen blankets
For when the sky became overcast

There is not one alien force significant of tribe
When in the end, our house is always made of dawn
Learning mystery and the sight of what is
Understood with obese significance

Where water rises forever and on and on…
We climb on the back of the sea, and ride henceforth

Prayer foams a focal chronicle, the place where dreams are born
Winter’s blood imprinting a paranormal, paired with poems
The same way one collects hope

Currents are strong, the salmon swims upstream
To the bear who roars in his sleep, singing songs throughout the land
Bout berries and the land’s secret strange scent of
Strong hearted women

Where the many swans of digital images live
Where the sky blooms like an open peak
Where the arrows of man, reaches the heart of the sky & smiles
Where a south wind sits and never ceases to blow
Where desire weaves with the trees opening like eagle wings

And those evil forces, they cannot help but die
Weekend shamans sing, "This is a Good Time"
