I wear you well Beneath my clothes Beyond what culture shows The valuables found in a lifetime quest Unsure and certain beats beneath my vest For you have won both honor and create As juices ripe ferment on fortunes plate I wear you well Beneath my skin and to the bone Directing harmony in loyalty and faithful tone A voice has risen From the recess of my secret place Lighting candles in my eyes to flood my face And all I knew has burned away to ash but know To be replaced and ever graced in love to glow Copyright Kkh 6/27/04 |

I wear you well... ~*~ You know, Kathleen... I think that is exactly what I do. I read here, I feel, breath, think in lines that I hope to be giving of nature, life, times, hope... I see all of the future, all of the frustration of life and dreams... I shimmer in your lights... if not for you, and the other poets... where would I be? I thank you, for this light... this...Diamond....  |
