The time has come,
The final hour has arrived,
The moment of truth,
The very second you bid goodbye.

An eternity did pass,
Before the tears began,
Unto death did the heart impart,
The memories that never seem to end.

A life thus ruined,
Embrace now the demise of faith,
For in the dark dwellings of pain,
Despair is forever engraved."

I kind of know what you are trying to say here.

I would have taken this good idea and wrote it then let it sit for a week and then rewrote it.

Just me.

Your poem is full of emotion. There are times when writing from the heart is all that is necessary. Good, honest poetry is often times spontaneous. We can always dot the i's and cross the t's later (not that you need to - response to previous comment) Thanks for sharing.
