Listening to every heart

0 posted 2004-06-26 12:22 PM

Raptor, Rapturous

Though hearing your call, I saw you not at first

I am home
on the rocks,
their sentinel;
serious,
ever here
as ever was.

I am home,
seek me no more,
my freedom is etched in time.

Slowly, the rains
drew me out;
time took its toll,
leaving me as guardian
of all who pass.

Your spirit spoke to me in hushed cry

I rode the winds,
but time will, now and then,
stand as still as I

~*~

listen to your heartbeat,
the winds will bring it to me,
for if you believe,

if I believe

I believe

Then one day I will fly,

again.

~*~

You may, or may not
see what I saw, to
the right of the photo.
If you do not,
that is OK.
If you do, then you,
too, heard
the hushed cry.

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...

Beautiful Karilea...
and yes I heard...
Hugs~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

I saw what you saw. But you really had to look to see.

Too cool.  Yeah, that's it, too cool.  Says it all.

finger on lips
lend to poet trips
into the realm of magick
to still this muse
would be to lose
and that would be so tragic.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

The rock outcrop is intriguing, can see so many things, but with your words it breathes. Would love to go trekking with you just to hear your thoughts on rocks.

Love,
Reg

This is wonderful Karilea and like rwood said you can see so much within that rock; whether I saw what you did I am not sure.

Beautiful

How could I resist such a title? *S* And how glad I am I didn't try... You've written so many magnificent verses... this, I believe, is one of your very best!!!
