An ipsy, tipsy bug in a glass, Was swimmin' 'round 'n 'round, It climbed up on a leaf of mint, So it would not drown. It was flyin' about the patio, When it spied the ice-cold gin, It dove into the liquor, And sank up to its chin. He soon became quite "happy", Then his eyes began to glaze, He flopped his wings, all over the place, In a drunken daze. With eyes bugged out, and head hung down, The bug began to snore, He slid in to the Cooler, And then he drank some more. But, as his luck would have it, The man whose drink this was, Picked it up, the bug and all, To drink away his blahs. It landed in his stomach, And as he sloshed about, He feared his life was ending, And shouted he wanted out! Of course, no one could hear him, For his voice was very small, So he buzzed and rammed his stinger, Into the stomach wall. The man stood up in a tizzy, As his innards did heave and hurl, He doubled over in agony And his vision began to whirl. He soon was spewing the contents Of booze and vomit galore, The bug crawled out of the refuse, Vowing not to drink gin anymore! [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (06-26-2004 10:21 AM).] |
