Romance is made within the mind
A trickle of a dream, a wish still left to find
That we create there are no rules
No paths to walk or blueprint jewels

My corner in beginnings meek
Envisioned something more to speak
The tense of day pulled tight resigned
A place of calm in faith designed

The liquid fills in scented steam
In bubbles made of lilac cream
On mirrored walls the lights so low
The ceiling high a stars window

And candle lights the mood so soft
Beneath my feet the wood grained loft
A fireplace speaks secret things
Of pine and oak these falls to springs

The curtains sheer with simple taste
The towels thick un-tucked and laced
These condiments of flavored paint
Draw butterflies at heavens gate

Unwrapped so slow in summers spell
Submersed in awe these tensions well
A time to give attentive stroke
To simple pleasures unveiled their cloak

A siren song called heart to heart
That in my wildest dreams impart
And take you here in honored arms
And bathe away in love’s sweet charms

Hello Kathleen

You painted a most beautiful and vivid picture for us all to enjoy.  This would have to be my favourite of yours so far.

Take care.........Sue

I love your imagery, the whisper of your words, the feel of romance and timelessness.  This is most lovely.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
