+*+*+*+*+*+
I add a bit of whimsy,
To nearly everything I do.
I see the bright and Light of life,
~ I'm an optimist, it's true!

When I wake each morning,
I look forward to my day,
Knowing that if lemons come,
I'll just make lemonade.

They call me Suzie Sunshine,
And Unsinkable Molly Brown,
But I'm more like Esther Williams,
Who'd rather swim than drown!

I've had my share of trials,
I've had tribulations galore.
I've had my share of ups and downs,
And I'm sure to have some more.

But through it all I've kept the faith,
That all will turn out right,
For the sun has always shone again
And banished my darkest night!

Enjoyed the read,
The other view expressed well,
But I seldom avoid the darkest night

Good morning, Professor!

I'm pleased that you dropped by from the other side! lol

You do dark and dreary exceptionally well, but I've read a few of your illustrious works that would give my sunshiny poems a run for the money! lol

Warm, mornin' hugs,
EA

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Yes indeedy. I think I would rather swim then drown. For sure, for sure. Not into drinking the whole pool or into drinking the ocean dry.
Very uplifting.

Woman, thy name is optimism.  Love this.  Love its message.  You are a shining light.

I must admit that those who know and love me wonder how I have managed to remain optimistic through all my trials and tribulations! I guess it's just in my nature to look on the bright side of things! ~ and this must be contagious because then those around me start filling up with optimism and Light!
