Brush off the dust and stay awhile, y'hear?
You think that your a stranger here, your wrong.
Pull up a chair and have yourself a beer.
A small place just as wide as it is long.

You think that your a stranger here, your wrong.
Your welcome here with friends and family.
A small place just as wide as it is long.
Rooms filled with folks as nice as they can be.

Your welcome here with friends and family.
We wander, but we always come back home.
Rooms filled with folks as nice as they can be.
A place we know we'll never be alone.

We wander, but we always come back home.
And even when our lives are filled with stress.
A place we know we'll never be alone.
We're just a group of friends, no more, no less.

And even when our lives are filled with stress.
We listen and we help when times get tough.
We're just a group of friends, no more, no less.
You'll find just passing through is not enough.

We listen and we help when times get tough.
Pull up a chair and have yourself a beer.
We're just a group of friends, no more, no less.
Brush off the dust and stay awhile, y'hear?

And special thanks always to Nan for teaching this fledgeling poet what a pantoum was way back in October of 1999, dang has it been that long?..

Iliana, I have learned more then I could ever tell you from the poets I've known and loved right here. I'll be looking for your posts fellow fledgeling. Thank you both for your replies.

Hey Lucie...you're only "five days" older than me!  Happy Fifth Anniversary at PIPS!!!

I'm so glad you took up the challenge...you made me smile a great pantoum of a smile!

I'll be back soon.  Keep things popping for me, y'hear?
