followed by a hollow ache in the pit of your stomach
No one cares...

Hey there 'ol Pal:  count me as another one who cares.  It's great to see you again, and I remain honored that you carry on my Twenty Or Less series...  A hearthug to you, my friend.

I've felt this, both halves of it...and thought the same...and then been quietly embarrassed when I eventually realized how wrong that thought was....

But Sandra, indeed they do care, as do I..

and I'd like to say.. thank you for the being that you are.  You express yourself beautifully and with full effect.. always.

It was promised so I waited
A lifetime went on by
And still I waited

Dear Sandra, for each of us there is a beam of light to follow, it will warm us when we are cold, it will show us the way when lost and bring us what we miss. Be well my friend.

Sincerely
Rick

Sandra, I'm sorry that you've felt this way.
It's not a good feeling. I hope things are better now.
Hugs,
Ethel
