When he was proud
Showing off his daughters
Introducing his loving wife
Helping his grandchildren take their first steps
Performing magic flawlessly
I remember our Dad
Face lit with pride

A loving Father
Entertainer of the young
Magic was his life
Two daughters looked on with pride
Dad we shall never forget.

This is truly wonderful, ladies.  Do you know how proud your father is of the both of you?  What I wouldn't give, to be up there with the both of you in a super hug...[me in the middle!] LOL...

So very, very special...

Awwww, this is so sweet and loving, Chris. I
love the poem and the picture. Ya'll were beautiful
then, too. Everyone looks so happy, even Joey.
Karilea's right, I'll bet your dad is so proud
of his two daughters. Ya'll are really special.
Heart Hugs to you both,

Aw...I've heard about some of your familial escapades and I must say you have a GREAT tradition of zaniness to continue. Your dad must have been wonderful...and I love your little brother's picture - the hard headed one in the family!

Nightshade and Enchantress,
How fortunate you were to have had a father of such imagination and creativity.  I feel sure a man of such virtues would be very proud of his wonderful daughters!  I'm so glad I've become internet acquainted with both of you.
  Lovely post, Nightshade.

What wonderful comments!
Thankyou all so much.
I wish each and everyone of you could have met our father and our mother.
They symbolized loving devotion.
Joey...our brother...well that's another story.

Chris, this is a priceless treasure that
you girls need to keep.  Says a lot of a
man who touched you both deeply....and
a brother too...
