This is pretty funny; I thought I wasn't writing today and now this is #3. Sorry about that. I hope you read the other two first, otherwise, this won't make as much sense.

Odd
how one moment
I rejoice in the laze
of summer daze
the slowing of the clock
tick
tock.

The next
I grow anxious
to be on with it.
Waiting on a machine
that holds me here
when the walking path
is calling, calling.

Even in summer
chores pester and hold
when one gives in to
the process.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
