The Acid Sea I sail upon an acid sea Each day dissolves a part of me Taking toll each moments time Aging me back into grime And though I rub a lanterns wish Its only night I feel the swish That takes me into fantasy From agony to ecstasy Its here surcease flies a dove Its here I find my phantom love Its here I walk my Islands shoal Its here I furnish for my soul And who’s to say the right or wrong The world of which I would belong A world who’s only entry fee The time of life that’s given thee So build your castle in the sand Your Shangri-la or Samarkand. |

But I suppose there is a silver lining to this scenario! ~You are enriching the sea with your fine essence! ~ Ooo! That's real bad! Sorry, it's just that this stanza has left me discombobulated! It's so real and so disquieting. I want you sailing on top of the sea with the warm tropical winds filling your sail!
