(Here's a new song I wrote in the process of moving, about the feeling you get when moving and it feels like everything is flying by and happening so fast everything you see feels so strange, and it all seems to bleed together.)

Yellow Tinted Windows
By: Noah Eaton
6/9/04

Flashing before your eyes,
what a pleasant suprise,
swimming with eyes wide open,
and you can see,
diamond air trap,
in there you breathe,
only on the surface,
feel the crizzling.

Daydreams still impaled,
the electric sunshine,
bleeds into your face,
sojourning between,
a home you've found,
and a home you've left behind.

Living an endless summer,
behind yellow tinted windows,
stippling all which you already are,
into all you want to be.

Reclining your head,
on the breakfast table,
watching shadows of youth,
jump-rope with pink fairy floss,
annealing in,
the shade of the gaffer,
who helped you interpret,
the light in your eyes

Daydreams still impaled,
the electric sunshine,
bleeds into your face,
as you arabesque,
between a home you've found,
and a home you've left behind.

Living an endless summer,
behind yellow tinted windows,
stippling all which you already are,
into all you want to be,
into all you want to be...

Living an endless summer,
behind yellow tinted windows,
stippling all which you already are,
into all you want to be.

Each and every day,
it breaks away,
you're too warm for viscosity,
in the corner of your eye,
behind the intaglio,
you'll always be a bit homesick...

"You'll find something that's enough to keep you
But if the bright lights don't receive you
You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20

Yes, Noah. You most likely will feel homesick but it will be less painful as you make a new home for  yourself.

Remember, You are "Living an endless summer,
behind yellow tinted windows,
stippling all which you already are,
into all you want to be" ~ that is going to be something even more awesome than you already are!

It sure seemed strange seeing Oregon as your home instead of Colorado! Life is full of change!

Enjoyed your song! Some day I'll actually be hearing you sing these beauties!

Angel huggums,
Linda

HEY NOAH! I am just southwest of Portland, in McMinnville!
BTW, have you been to Powell's bookstore yet? A whole city block full of books! Perhaps we shall bump into one another downtown. I always figured on running into you at Tattered Cover in Denver. LOL, maybe Powell's. I'll be there again in a couple of weeks. have a fun summer

well said Noah - a fitting song to the thoughts feelings and trials of a move - sometimes a new song comes from the joy one learns to feel about their new home - Paul

Hey,
I really enjoyed this one, yea moving is tough especially when it is from the place you grew up.
Is that an Ovation guitar you are holding? Those are nice.
