.

.

tall once in garden
must now bend to kiss cool earth
it is autumn's time
to bed down nature's children
even I, the wicked one

.
.

my season is brief
yet my memory lingers
in clutch of nightmares
blame not bloom for your undo
Belladonna, Nightshade, me ~

Chris....I have no doubt that Karilea will
thoroughly enjoy this one as well.

Such truth of the flower..so beautiful, yet
so deadly as well...

Your words beckon and deliver, they have grown into something so exquisite, Chris. So exquisite as this, your Bella, the tension and release is striking. I love it.

Love,
Reg

This makes me think of one I wrote a while back, called Oleander....a plant with many of the same traits.

Excellent work!
