On a gray cloudy day
That had brushed the sun away
He walks barefoot in the sand
Waiting for the turn of night
Ankle deep where the waves creep
Lightly rain mixes with ocean’s weep
Leaving footprints in the sand
Others rush for warm and bright.

Raven hair and light brown skin,
Brown eyes match the suit she’s in
A mere handkerchief of clothes
Hiding enhancing what shows
Gives a grin as she dives in
Between crashes of surf swims
He’ll watch standing on the sand
Then,
quietly exit stage right.

Gloom

Professor,
That gloom has earmarks of a tomb.
Well done, good read.

Perfect sense...that's why the shore has such a draw!  Grin.
