A Tome

I roam within the loam of goal
A tome within a home my soul
A whim that clears the dim of blind
A nim that plays the mim of mind

A wile that sets me on an Isle
A guile that brings my file a smile
A fantasy a wonder land
An ecstasy in samarcand

It is a dip within my well
A sip surcease a nightly spell
A roam within my egos home
A tome within a poet’s loam

Without it I cannot bend
Without it would be my end
She is to me my wind of sail
She is my savior and my bail

She is the peak, my beach and shoal
The very seek that tweaks my soul.

In every write I read of yours
I sit me back, am reassured
that within the beat of heart and meet
I hear a quiet, smiling greet...

Good morning, Sy!

What an inspiration she is, too, because your sails billow in that wind beautifully!   ......jo
