The Crossroads For My Wife on our 6th Anniversary I will meet you there in promising solace where the sun ceases not, but tenders warmth evermore. Where shadows pass upon that lonely shoulder without uttering a word, and darkness in forgotten. Somewhere, lost in love between our world and theirs, we travel together, yet apart; destined to arrive beyond strife where attested love triumphs. Where our roads inevitably meet, against all obstinate odds we find ourselves, forever, still young in love... ...at this place aptly named, "The Crossroads". Copyright, Kevin V. Reese, 2004 |
