Saluting with misty eyes

Welcome Home, My Child
Was spoken as I passed
Into the unknown
I swore did not exist
I looked around the Darkness
The unforgiving Void
And saw naught, save the Black
You ignored My Love
Denied the Paradise I created
For you

I glanced about
Trying to imagine such a place
Paradise
As spoken by that Voice
Yet, sight was not possible
Worry not, My son
For you are forgiven
Now and when your time
Truly comes

Where was the understanding
I was in the Beyond
The life passing from my hands
Yet there was no sense of Peace
I did not belong
There was somewhere else to be
Have no fear in your heart
I will not forsake you
When you are called
A favor I ask
Allow a decade or two
To live your life
So I might fully prepare
your place at My side

This is a very inspiring poem.  I really enjoyed it.  Your structure was well done and it flowed quite well.  This is simply a great poem with a grand inspiration.

ringo my dearest friend, you know my views on all this sort of thing....however, the range of subject matter, that you can bring into a poem (scribble)and make it work,,,,,not only in the mind, but work in the heart,,is truely amazing. Great work my man, you are, in many ways, an artist,,,,

Michelle

I wish all could find the true happiness I have found,,in the eyes of Mike

This was such an inspirational and thought-provoking read for me this morning, Ringo. I loved your closing lines ... beautifully expressed. Very much enjoyed this.

Best wishes,
/Kit
