In Your Poetic Mind

Greetings from GA.....having a wonderful time, and miss being here....if I dont get back before I return home, please know I appreciate you reading....see ya again on or before the 23rd....
~

~~
{I saw Dante whispering by the shore
take my arms when you are weak}

~
In a  field of hands
his palms were down --

how far must I travel
in my knowing how

we have unearthed
time -through silence –
yes, even laughter --

I felt nothing--heard nothing
the touching, the human contact
have escaped   rituals  in
empty words

Under amber moon
    nights keep my sanity
but only until dawn breaks
horizons yellow maybe orange
I dare to notice now –
~
How did I get stuck
where days wont let me
out of sorrow - let me escape
seas offer no comfort
still         I stood there
for hours next to you
amongst your face and waves
of old memories
~
I hid my tears
upon        aching fingertips
& tasted the salt of each

I can not explain the small
breath settling across my face

tell me again how much
you love me

feed my hunger-
my years of everything -
my years of searching - for faith
on a clock with no hands -

Tomorrow may be a better day

today
I walk alone   with arms open&eyes closed

~
still--

before           clouds pass

leave me to fade slowly into
pale   shades of blue
weeping life   without you

~~**~~
le vent chante avec le calme doux
calme de nuit
sien beauté sur mes lèvres

Nothing to say but you are awesome. How do you do this so well, speak my thoughts, without talking to me??

Greeneyes -- miss you, too, and miss your music, like that above -- so gentle.  Safe travels!

unabashedly wrenchingly beautiful...
you turned tears into poetry, painted butterfly wings on the words.

When your own emptiness is all thats getting through
There comes a point when youre not sure why youre still talking
I passed that point long ago

As always it's wonderful to read you!
This was so beautiful my friend, so
soft and gentle, but then again I have
come to expect nothing less from you.
You write with such grace.
Smiles. Take care and hope the rest
of your trip is great!
Hugs,
Amy

This is so sad, but beautiful poetry.
