Friday Morning Stretching

Reaching out becomes a lost cause
when those arms are in another plane
and the turning of a head causes friction
in an otherwise empty world.

Its weight sheds thoughts on me,
my body clashing against the tendency
at odds with the need to lean back
for support, heart racing in worry.

It's a stretch that feuds and threatens to assail
what has to be...at least for now.

M

sometimes it's better to understand then to fight it and force things.  Letting go is the hard part, but the most thoughtful for both.

Good Morning Lady Jane, how are ya
Hugs and sending wishes along for a very Happy Friday
