Just For The Shell Of It
~*Marge Tindal*~

~Colonized coral
on memories shore
Building castles of evermore
Riding waves in under towing rhyme
Just for the shell of it most of the time
Lackluster clusters of marine treasures delight
Scattered upon seashores explored in the night
Sprinkled like starfish upon retreating horizon
Multitudinous discoveries continuously rising
Spread on shore in pearls strung
Just for the shell of it
I have to have one
~*~

~For your seashell collection, Corinne~

Hiya Margie...Happy Thurday

Shells are georgeous...while down in the Bahamas I found several dollar shells, I sat in the ocean studing the shell for a long time, wanted to bring it home, but couldn't help think about it dying out of water, so I returned it to its home.

The unperfection in nature is a stunning perfection, isn't it.  Loved this poem.  I think I was a fish once, cause I'm sooooo drawn to water and poems of such.

Have a great day and thanks again for another inspirational write.

Dear Marge:  I really enjoyed this. Of course, when do I not enjoy your work?
I have a collection of shells from Pacific beaches and also from New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand.  My son was in those countries a few years ago, for months at a time and did a lot of beach combing.  I have always loved sea shells!
