as I google for words
to describe you
and the whirled world around,
the pair prima donna
come to mind

much like prime numbers
and ragdoll pawns
in a curious mind game
where four rows of
b.w.b.w.b.w.b.w
alternate
with four rows of
w.b.w.b.w.b.w.b
where the queen is
the most powerful

much like you

oh yes,
they tell me
there were pop stars
before madge gained
popular vibes like a V
and they were
often sassily named
pre–madonna

as you see,
my words are meaning
less
even lesser today
as time plays a
foot-fault on
second serve

while my lines intermingle
with fading out radio songs
belting rhythms of
automatic tribal trance dance;
I think I contrived to
miss the plot
and lose the cogs up there
in the five kilos of mass
over which Phillips
headphones rest

Sudhir,
And what is the b.w. and w.b. reference? This was an interesting write. Thought I'd bump it.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Enjoyed the read, the flow of words.

Very interesting images;  I can tell that this is one I'll read again and again.  There is much to it.

          Enjoyed,

Nice, Sudhir

reads like stream of consciousness...Or, under the influence of hypnagogic tribal thumpings, perhaps unconciousness.

thanks all for coming by...

by the way, "b.w.b.w.b.w.b.w" is for alternating black and white squares of the chess board... and so on

regards
sudhir

I don't know if this is really needed, but anyway... I will try to explain the omelettes inside my head or whatever they must be called...

let's call it 'craning the cranium'
------

you see, I heard a song on the radio... Madonna trying to reinvent herself... and then I read somewhere (I forget where!) the words prima donna... two completely unrelated happenings...

and what I know I think of playing chess...

black, white, black white, GREY... as they kept alternating in the head ... like numbers... important prime numbers... 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 ... then I read on bbc web site that the great english hope henMAN lost and I was laughing away when I remembered pip ad a thread where the serene one asked the weight of the average human head... and someone said about 5 kilos

meanwhile the radio (Yahoo! Launch) continue to play songs that I had never heard before...

and this came out...

but wait... there is another meaning to all this...

wait... I will try and remember it...

first let me eat my omelette

thanks for coming by and reading the yellow of eggHEAD
