A light breeze blows across the water Yet I don't feel it. The sun shines bright over the sandy beach But I don't see it. The tide has risen to where I'm sitting But I don't notice. I'm not aware of any of these things Because in my world they don't exist I cry And no one hears me. I mourn Yet no one comforts me. No one notices me in my world For I am alone. Amanda, Indeed! Gotta push this to the top. It's a point well worth making.  If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
