If love is red like roses
with a purely whitened heart
And spreads her wings like petals
Then I will be a part

Then I will be a part of you
with all the thorns included
And when somehow they make a scratch
Then I will mend and glue it

Then I will glue the parts again
untill they're firm and strong
When love is red like roses
Then in my garden you belong

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Nice Titia. Miss ya'! Hope mom is okay...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thanks Larry, yes, Mom is okay and still driving her car around, 93 she will be this Summer and busy as ever.

Nancy, thanks and though I'm retired now, I still seem to have too little time on hand.
We will be having ADSL soon and that means I won't be on the telephone ticks anymore.
For the moment however I still have to watch my bill LOL

Your garden is a special place
That I would like to see.
I'm sure the fragrances it has
Would suit me wonderfully.

The roses there grow strong and tall
The tulips are divine.
I swear that I can smell the ivy
Climbing on the vine.

So look and see if you have room.
I hope that there will be
A little space for you to place
A pansy just like me

I love the picture your words present here, Titia.  I think the structure of the poem adds a lot to its feel.  Very nicely done.

Now isn't that the way we women always think, must be the nurturing side of us...smiles and hugs, what beauty woven through this image and your words.

Balladeer,

A pansy with the likes of you
Will suit my garden fine
It will bring colour to dark corners
And makes me smile while sipping wine

You know I would love to show you around Deer
and fragrance? Yes, a taste of perfume is hanging in my garden.

James, thank you dear.

Passing Shadows, thanks also.

Jo, glad my rhyming image gave you pleasure.

Sudhir, thanks, we should meet some time.

Scorpio, lots of coloured rhymes are hidden in my garden.

Sunshine, I'll mail you soon and thanks for framing this one.

Nan from Texas, thanks I enjoyed your little witty poems back in Tampa.

Sadelite, thanks and you're welcome.

LeeJ, alas, I'm not the nurturing type, or...?

JL, thanks

Maureen, thanks sweet friend.

Titia
