A poet in the darkest hours,
Draws upon creative powers,
To write the mots within his seam,
Puts pen to paper as in dream.

In the stillness of darkest nite,
By flame of candle burning brite,
Sits the poet pondering theme,
Puts pen to paper as in dream.

From deep within indigo ink
~ The sea of notions and deep think,
He bears a poem from just a gleam,
Puts pen to paper as in dream.

A poet in the darkest hours,
Puts pen to paper as in dream.

Nancy ~

Yes, it is a very special time ~ an almost hallowed time!
