Introspection

Introspection is my calling
That’s the wellspring of my bawling
I drink it from a cup of myth
And use it as a source of pith

Its pith is like a heady prime
Made the grapes of father time
Forged in flames fatality
Hammered by reality

Until it slices through the air
And cut through all the standing wear
Brings the mountain down to floor
And makes the lion want to roar

Leads the darkness into bright
Makes the sun to shed its light
Fills an egos bag of tricks
And makes the mortar of the bricks

What better game can humans play?
Than use the mind to make our day

Well lookie here, I am first to give you a morning hug?  And, hug I will, oh wise friend of mine.   You have indeed given me some thoughts to ponder in my introspection this morning, and made my day.  Will you please hug that Isobel for me, if you can catch her.

We have a friend, who insists life is "all about fun"...

He would enjoy this one, Sy...
I'll point him in your direction!

I also love the ending...
"What better game can humans play?
Than use the mind to make our day"

Sometimes that is all one can do.

That’s the wellspring of my bawling
=================

you call it bawling...I'll call it poetry.

either way...just keep the rhymes coming...
there is so much to be learned from you.
