It is,

only

imaginary...

this temporary velvet

of crimson armor...

Without this stain

I'm winter pale.

Know

that mine could not part

to find a sentence for you

after all this time.

I won't tell the air

between us

that motionless bold

is bravado

knowing the outline

of your own

is swaying on my horizon

offering

nothing....

expecting submission,

for edges to curl

among foolish laughter lines

forgiving something you'd done

that you don't remember.

...It's not impossible...

But words

for you

are

Crimson smiles tell me

the only thing it knows...

You'll be waiting

for answers

like I

waited for yours

when we meet.

Speaking of crimson lips, I love your radiantly smiling ones in your photo! You're pretty as a picture!

there are certain poets...that when I read them..I feel "poetic tingles" as I feel the words....
it happends nearly every time I read you girl..... ya get me time and time again...
and thats a very good thing.

*sigh* ... damn I wish I had wrote that.

We believe the past could be undone...but time always reveals ...
the lonely light of morning...the wound that would not heal.

hard to choose favorite lines, but I love these ones. Sad but beautiful imagery there. Well done!
