Textures of Sight

The sun and the wind quietly tip toeing through the open window
on this early summer morn, kissing, caressing,
coaxing you gently awake.
You reach, smile, letting nature flow over skin
that is the
texture and color of satiny cream.
You glide to the window and smell and feel the colors
of green and the warmth of gold.
The texture beneath your feet is a soft soothing shag that tickles
your
bare sensitive toes sending the message of buttery yellows and
tawny beige.
An aroma of stinging, pungent textures invade your
delicate nostrils and the fragrance of pepper and onion
descend into your inner mind.
This scent flashing red, stinging your eyes,
along with the
burning taste of bittersweet agony.
As you follow these scents, your hand runs along the textures of
the walls
and
you shuffle your feet along the path that leads you to the room of
this
fascinating aromatic cuisine.
As you enter the room a cool dark shadow gently strokes your
cheek
and a light kiss upon your lips.
Then you hear the words that will send color and textures to your
sensual palette and your active mind.
With a smile upon your hungry lips those enticing words that are
whispered on the summer breeze are,
“Good morning dear, breakfast is ready.”

yes, very sensory

I do think you want "through" in the first line, though.

Love how you can see and feel colors with your toes.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Thanks VAS.
Maybe when I wrote this I just woke up and threw my toes through the open window. LOL
Thanks once again.

Glad you all liked.
