You Were Thought Of Today

Your to busy most the time
I will try to understand
As I was a day ahead
Nothing can be planned

Being the last on your mind
I am quite well aware
I should have realised
You had no time to spare

You must have many things
To take the place of me
As time passes on by
Through silence I can see

I kept in touch as promised
In being forever friends
If only to let you know
A caring heart never ends

The reason I had written this
You are thought of today
Hoping you remember
I said every step of the way

It's such an unfinished and unfulfilled hope when our thoughts and cares return back empty...
