       Knowing The Stars

        Sometimes
    when the world is
        black and green and shiny
in the evening under cool green stars
I look up from the grass
     and know that somewhere,
                      somewhere there is
  green and black,
                 the shiny dew,
the evening under cool green stars
                    and knowing,
                    knowing…….

Ed

There's a lovely circular pattern to this...like looking into a pool and seeing the sky.  Loved it!

yes, what Martie said...that helps me enjoy it even more

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I think I'll stop reading for the morning now...
I just want this one to soak up in me,
and stay there all day.
*sigh* Yeah...

More!  You left me hanging on the edge, having to figure out the rest by myself.  (Nice techniique.  I'd have to agree with the responder who said this has somewhat of a circular pattern to it.  There is more than meets the eye here...)Enjoyed

I read this early this morning... and it's rested gently on my thoughts ever since. *S* And while I honestly can't express all the places my thoughts wander... I know I'll be reading this again and again... and loving every journey. *S*

You see... you know... you share... I'm grateful. *S*
