The Cradles Rhyme |

The Cradles Rhyme Do not rock the cradles rhyme The stock is made of fragile time The rock may quell the stir of cry But cannot change the final lie Take advantage of each clause Each moment is a different pause Different in the book of time Made and mixed of different grime Sail the sail that you would go No one knows the end of flow Be the button fills a hole Grant the lesson to your soul Lend some time to fantasy Illusions of eternity I feel that it does not exist But happiness is made of mist Make the mist a shawl of lace And give a rose to times embrace |

Do not rock the cradles rhyme The stock is made of fragile time The rock may quell the stir of cry But cannot change the final lie ===================================== HOOT THERE IT IS.... that will be the COOLEST verse of inspire and intent I will read today...rhyme wrapped in the truth of time. That verse holds more wisdom than it should be able to carry...OH BUT IT DOES... and then...as if that wasnt enough(oh but it was) .... you offer this..... Take advantage of each clause Each moment is a different pause Different in the book of time Made and mixed of different grime and then...then you give us the cherry on top.... Be the button fills a hole have I mentioned you ROCK!!!   *winkiewinkie*    |

Sy There is so much wisdom in this...there always is in your poetry, but this one especially moved me because it reminded me of a special time and someone. Thank you. Rock the cradle hums the silence, swaddle the aching story in soft memories lullaby. Push again the breath of morning into the arms of waiting listen before the wail and stench of dying digest the offering of my needful retrospect. |
