Let us lay in cradle of riverbank
to weave the cicada's voice
in harmony with the satapadi
you sing to me as I sleep,
letting shadows gently creep
in dance of wind over our faces
as the sun blushes cheeks
in rise of heat to lips
that meet you in-between
the sigh of swaying grasses.
Let your hair fall over me
to veil our love from jealous gods
leaving me naked beneath
in marriage to your glance,
Deep in the myth of your eyes.

To reiterate what Eric said, WOW -- that's a double WOW, now!  That muse of yours sure is talented and you hear very well, little cuted muted one.

You have such a delicate elegance to your writing.  Much enjoyed.

A unique soundtrack it would be.     Really effective imagery, softens just so...

"muted" fits this quite nicely. A warm serene feeling permeates this throughout.

Pastoral without being passive...A very good poem!

whoa...my muse dont daydream like this.
lovely lovely writing here poetess Dawn...
let that muse run barefoot and fancy free...the result is pure poetry

Your images and emotions evoke so much, yet you leave so much room in my psychic space that I am blushing in deeply in evolving eros .   Now I see that a sign of an amazing poem....

oh wow!
I'm not really sure what else to say with this.
It packed a beautiful punch and left me stunned....
Keep it up!
