Plunging

All alone I stand
emptiness a something feel
what's false is false
and true is real
so lick the envelope
these words to seal.

Once is not enough I guess
more than I can ask, so
toss the dice, there is no win
just sorrows, future's task
and I, in mourning's mask.

Time, it comes, its deed to fill
the need of which I have no will.

Behind, I sit, this masquerade
of who of you, and I still fraught
the need of none, no longer aide
in silent screams my words in fought
expect not much, sit I, in thought.

I stretch my reach and still its bare
no one, nothing, airless air
just words, more words,
a nonsense write
fulfilling time, trapped in this plight.

Time, it comes, its deed a must
the feel of which, a knife in thrust.

Even reading this leaves me with a painful ache and emptiness. You expressed it so well, though...

I hate when you can look ahead at time
and see that, for awhile,
it honestly offers nothing but grief.
I wish it was different for you.
Just hang on...

Maureen, I am reaching out for you. Hold on, you will get through this very difficult time. In spite of all your pain, fear and frustration, you still manage to write with a master's touch.

Sending you loving Light and comforting hugs,
Linda
