Pockets

There is a pocket in my cheek
A place my tongue will often seek
When I am fetching for a phrase
That’s not exactly symbols praise

In fact it borders on a jest
A little wit and smiling zest
A comment that will titillate
And prod the ego to deflate

It is a game I sometimes play
A knight in joust along the way
Unseating pride into the tide
To let it float in wet abide

It is not meant to just offend
But blow a wind to make it bend
To clear the mist of circumstance
The prudish of intolerance

Do I see a tongue in cheek?
Is there something you would speak?

nope...I got nothing to say...
I'm just gonna let you do all the talking...
you say it so much better than I.

But blow a wind to make it bend

See what I mean.

Ah, don't we all at times have something we say 'tongue in cheek'?

Mornin', T-Man!

The visual of your tongue probing the pocket of your cheek, cracked me right up ~ so to speak.

Have a tiddly-winkly day!

You know what they say, a chuckle a day.

JM,
Once again you skirt the flame
You had better watch your aim.
