Think before you speak oh noble open heart Already you are prisoner of some other chart As if to banish demons that once castigated dreams In the very threads are braided cuffs to bone it seems In the deluge of a soul song came so unexpectedly The telling tale of tolerate as if that were the plea That echo is the red of sun that shines a sailor’s morn You heard within that scripture all the same as once forlorn Some passages divergent in the steadfast sent divine For love has weathered all these storms and thrives upon the vine And you are not adrift in some forsaken ocean thrash Just navigate the winds of war, and curve the frosty lash Contentment is a bramble and jealousy a briar Complacent the preamble, denial just a liar His heart is in your keeping to dream and guide alike And never to forget the basis of such fearful strike The journey has built solid all the principal domains And inside bathes in crimson all the reasons love remains This is stronger than forever, finally deeper than tales Grimm On a path of self-sustaining wrapped in love you feel for him Copyright Kkh 5/31/04 [This message has been edited by ThisDiamond (06-01-2004 12:27 AM).] |
