How wide you've grown
spreading your colorful fan
along the face of sky,

and the echos of green
that crawl up
and beneath you,

and the songbird of
the rose painted throat
that sings in triumph
of the season,

spring has come!

and surpassed
the promise of
her expectation,

some might say
it's simply landscape
or background music to
life's theme,

but to me,
as this touch unseen,
tossles my hair, then
stirs the miles of green,

it's life's validation,
as i share the breeze
and breathe, with all
that moves both beyond
and beneath me.

So beautiful, you~

The sun at dusk,
flickers on spring's full blossoms
with a moment's light-
though hidden behind the hills
its burning glow still remains.
