The color

It is the color set me off
The purple of a dreamers doff
The pull of rue, the feel of wrong
The stewing of, the scene the song

The cannot tough, desires pull
The rough and tumble of the wool
The vagueness of the clarity
The hopeless of disparity

So to this dream I said goodbye
I could not catch this butterfly
And mixed a different pallets hue
To make the weapons of a coup

And with my brush I painted green
With gorgeous flowers in-between
Laid me down this golden heir
And placed my mind within her fair

It’s there the night my heart did stay
And how my harp of art did play

May your "harp of art" never stop playing ~ or dreaming...

~ and your word pallet is divinely colourful, Sir T!

Have a lusciously grapey-purple day!
