LAMENT FOR A LONELY WARRIOR |

 There is no leader who has not felt the fear of failure. There is no angel who has not felt the wrath of God. There is no man who has not felt the hardship of weather. There is no chief who has not felt the trial of losing control. There is a truth who speaks to us through silence. There is a silence that whispers wisdom's words. There is a friend who's there without the knowing. There is a bird invisible, unheard, Who knows the fears of failure, wrath and weather, It knows uncertainty of falling from the sky. It knows whispers hidden in wind's wisdom. It knows the sorrow in your eyes. And it will sing this truth to the wind, "Dear Angel, leader, chief, man, friend, Fear not -- I know the load you carry. You are not abandoned. You are part of Me, the Earth part of Me.... Be still, and know the Great I AM." [This message has been edited by iliana (05-29-2004 04:12 AM).] |

I was sure I had replied to this! Sheesh, my mind fails me sometimes (it's the old age *grin*). This is an amazing work. I have a hard time pulling out lines, or even telling you exactly why its so great. It just speaks the truth, bluntly but not at all plainly, and I like that.
