Shriven

I sit here with a shriven head
Upon the ashes of the dead
Call upon the silent Braille
To guide me in my heavens sail

I’ve cut the string the bind of earth
The very substance of my birth
And let my mind the ghost of be
To see the heaven I would see

And yet the veil has set a twist
A storm upon my finds exist
A hurricane that’s blown my mind
That stays the very search and find

How many will the passage be?
I know there is no endless sea
Perhaps the end is nothingness
It is an end I must confess

You know of course we live times be
When time is gone than so are we

Mr. T, thy sonneteering head be not shriven. Perhaps it be a bit shaken in light of recent reports.

Your heavenly sails do sail endless seas and shall do so forevermore.

Warm hugs and a little angel kiss,
EA

We're deep into the muddy, lad,
the water's given way;
I would laugh 'twere not so sad;
but I'll see another day.

Sy,
Ah, but perhaps we may return,
That is if we are not the ones to burn.
Me thinks when all is said & done,
That you will have just begun.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
