A purple Sail

A purple sail where dream is caught
A noble bale where seem is wrought
To wonder in a night of daunt
A filigree of flight in flaunt

O’er the waves of spirits crest
Curling white in full invest
Breaking o’er the bow of split
Making wonder into wit

Phantoms chasing fireflies
Casting bracing lullabies
Painting walls of dancing call
Candelabra shadows fall

Whirling to a medley host
Bringing life a wily ghost
Stitched in essence to the mind
Served in Braille unto the blind

That glistens in a wily of wend
And makes the species bow and bend

Mist and foam of dreams that roam
Shadows beckon, call me home
myriad fantasies, my recall
where poems exist, for one, and all...

Thank you for the inspiration...

I suppose the phantoms are jealous, are they not?

Very lovely rhyme my friend...enjoyed!
