Between the Lines

It's no illusion, the missing
I do of you,
the hope I have
that rests inside
bending my thoughts
around memories.

It's all I have
to whet my appetite,
to sharpen the appeal,
the allure always there
in my view of you.

I watched the ray-spread
behind the clouds,
the sun holding its own
despite the threat of storm
and I thought of how you
came into my life.

You raided my words,
invaded my mind
conquering my heart
with your seductive manner.

You are my twist of serenity
when I feel your touch and
the look in your eyes
that speaks louder than words.

You are my "if only"
as I meander, weaving my way
through the heaviness
that is you.

M

This is a most beautiful penning~
You continue to write from the heart of such a lovely person ... you best yourself with this one~

I love it all, but the end of this just grabs me...

Beautiful words written
(I shall bump again)

A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness.
