Coupling The coupling of a field and stream Will oft make magic in a dream Lull you into flights of wile And take you to a mystic Isle Where gentlemen and ladies fair Dance upon the essence there Dipping into wishing wells Getting drunk on naive spells Catching cupids arrows fly Setting flame to narrows why Letting doves to fly above And falling headlong into love The magic lasts throughout the night Until the coming of the light Where they’re upon the drifting clouds Fades the powers lace of shrouds But dreams are good they fill a need They mulch the bed of sprouting seed |
