Listening to every heart

Celebrating Freedoms – Celebrating Speech

Today I fought
with butterflies
               and dragonflies
not outwardly…only inwardly…

for I would never harm either…outwardly…

then I took your poem, and your poem,
and yours…

and shared them with a small community.

Were we heard?  By some, yes…not by all…
but heard we were, except when

the Kansa winds blew my words away…
I know not where they traveled…
possibly to God’s ear, for He was there, I know…
but some words were truly
blown away…

some cows listened, I am sure…
perhaps a cowboy or two heard a word on the wind
and possibly a lone heart
or two
caught a bit of breeze
and quite possibly
heard soft words of life, and hope, and freedoms…

it’s possible, you know…
love of life,
and freedoms, on Kansa winds….

I'm sure Karilea when you speak there is always someone who listens..
especially when those words are carried on Kansas winds.
Well done...

Can one celebrate what one does not own?

Yes!

Here's to you, to me, to all of us!

something settling about knowing that even though the words could not be heard the way we thought they would they still travel in nature, maybe thats where they truly belonged to begin with
im sure those cows had ears perked up, listening to every word carried past...

Well,  I guess as long as the cows heard
them,  then no one will be yelling "Where's
The Beef?"

I am sure this was a moment of a churn within
the tummy,  a bit of frustration....and also
a bit of satisfaction,  knowing that you
did your best...For we all know that you
would do nothing less than that.

Thanx Lady,  much appreciated what you did.

Sunshine,
I think it was a great thing you did. Thanks for initiating.  I'm sure many were
honored.
              Thanks,
