Written with a wink and a smile and a bit of encouragement for Endless Echo and in response to her poem "coming to peace".

FLUFFY

I sit upon my fluffy chair
Enjoying an evening of fresh air
And as I watch the sun set into the west
I think to myself . . .
It’s the fluffy clouds that look the best

Yes, fluffy
Billowing and ruffled
Looking all soft and tousled
It’s the fluffy clouds that look the best

I lay me down to sleep at night
Cuddled and bundled to sleep most tight
And as I lay my head to rest
I think to myself . . .
It’s the fluffy pillows that feel the best

Yes, fluffy
Billowing and ruffled
Looking all soft and tousled
It’s the fluffy pillows that feel the best

I think when asked
Most would agree
Fluffy is good to some degree

And though it is true,
Sorrow is more easily expressed
There are also words to be found
When things are at their best
Like Fluffy.

Susan...

"There are also words to be found
When things are at their best
Like Fluffy."

Indeed there are...and then there is the word, delightful, like this poem!
