Lighting Your Name
By: Noah Eaton
5/16/04

All at once,
I recognize,
your face...

...the shadow,
all too familiar,
it's impossible,
to walk through it...

...seems like the oddest thing,
in life,
is all that you remember...

...tears of candles,
veins full of feathers,
is all you need to carry.
.
.
.
Somewhere in this tenderness,
there's a sadness,
it never leaves me alone,
it graces me with fullness,
and when my eyes,
are filled with tears,
they fall the moment,
you make me blink.

These warm tears I cry,
only make me love you even more,
these warm tears I cry,
only make me love you even more...
.
.
.
All at once,
I recognize,
your light...

...your cheeks flush,
like lycopene,
like the first time I saw you...

...why do we abandon all these disguises,
but marry these mirrors?
It can be so hard,
when you look back,
too soon...
.
.
.
I find it curious,
when I finally accept it,
then I can change,
but until we lose ourselves,
there is no hope in discovering who we are...

I just want to scream,
from the top of the world,
your name...
.
.
.
Hello, my friend,
we meet again,
and it's been so long...
.
.
.
Now, we've met like old friends,
but perhaps our heart,
is made of an answer never given,
and these warms tears I cry,
make me love you even more...
.
.
.
These warm tears I cry,
only make me love you even more,
these warm tears I cry,
only make me love you even more,
These warm tears I cry,
only make me love you even more, ooooh,
these warm tears I cry,
only make me love you even more...
.
.
.
I've found that now,
I love you even more...
.
.
.
I've found that now,
I love you even more...

Noah, this is absolutely beautiful. What a treat it would be to hear you sing such lyrics of love.

I've been missing you my special angel friend!

I know you've been pretty busy winding up your school year and with all your moving preparations! I'm thinking of you and sending you lots of loving pink Light and protection!

Big warm hug,
EA

Oh my.  I just realized I don't think I've read one of your poems in a while, and I really missed it.  I always like your style and you never cease to amaze me with a line or a thought that really grabs my attention - well, usually more than one line - but many.  I loved this writing.

It was beautiful!

Hello Noah.

A sad but cleansing kind of poem.

I know you are growing up. Your work is maturing. A new pic someday for us, maybe?

Peace,

Corinne

Yes... Sometimes it is definitely like that. *S*

Noah, I was glad to see you when I decided
to come in here tonight. I haven't been
around much lately either. Hope all is well
with you, my friend.
Hugs to you,

Noah,

You gave me chills...(the good kind)
You could warm the coldest of hearts
my friend with your beautiful words
and loving heart. This was incredible,
just incredible. I have missed your writing.
Take care,
Amy

love this thought Noah... would make a lovely song...someday you should tape them and allow us to hear your music.
