Saluting with misty eyes

The Golden Phone is ringing
Answer it
Talk to Him
The One on the other side
He is listening
Waiting
Enduring
Demanding an explaination
As to the waste you've become
Are you scared
Do you feel it
Fear
Hate
Loathing
For the chances you've missed
Opportunities gone
You were given as a gift
To use or ignore
Look inside
See the reality
What you have become
Is it what you were meant to be
Has the gift
So lovingly given
Been lost
Squandered
Abused
Ignored
The Golden Phone is ringing
It is time to pay
If you dare

Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again...

...I'm stunned....I feel this poem on every possible level. wow

and i'm certain that if i drive into those trees, it would make less of a mess, than she's made of me...

yes...
feel em' all for many different reasons.  Not because I intended on wasting the gift, but because it was taken from me.  Many awesome opportunities have past... and I pray daily that I can do my gift again one day.

awesome poem, a bit too close to home.

gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

"I am...the LIZARD KING!!!"

(another favorite line is: "You killed my duck!")

I do believe the golden phone gift is factual--and I too, was quite taken with the depiction of that--a direct link to God is indeed a ponderous gift. Could be a good thing, or NOT.

Enjoyed this'n Ringo dude.

Jesse- Thanks for the kind words. They are appreciated.

Kristie- Work hard, pray daily, and take your vitamins... If it doesn't work, at least you'll be healthier  lol.
thank you.

Karen- SOMEONE GOT THE REFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was actually wondering if anyone would. And when he ACTUALLY killed the duck was SOOO cool.
